Rabbi Revah

Born in Toronto, Ontario, Rabbi Moshe Revah embarked on an enriching journey of Torah study and scholarship. He began his education under the guidance of Rabbi Meir Stern in Passaic and later continued his studies in Brisk Yerushalayim, learning under the esteemed Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Solovetchik. His thirst for knowledge brought him to Eretz Yisrael, where he further deepened his understanding of Jewish law and traditions under the tutelage of Rabbi Hillel.

Eventually settling in Chicago, Rabbi Revah became an integral member of the vibrant Jewish community as a Kollel member. He earned his semicha from the esteemed Rabbi Dovid Zucker. An accomplished author, Rabbi Revah has penned three authoritative sefarim on the Laws of Interest, Shabbos, and Meat and Dairy, solidifying his reputation as a respected authority in these areas of Halacha.

Passionate about sharing his wisdom and insights with others, Rabbi Revah regularly contributes to Halacha Encounters and is sought after as a compelling speaker across the city. He currently holds the prestigious positions of Rosh Yeshiva and Rosh Kollel at the Hebrew Theological College Beis Midrash and Men’s College division, located in Skokie, Illinois.

With his dedication to scholarship, teaching, and community involvement, we are incredibly lucky to have Rabbi Moshe Revah as one of our rebbeim in shul, who continues to inspire and uplift the lives of many through his profound understanding of Jewish law and unwavering commitment to spreading Torah knowledge.
